Here is the Work Computer
This was also built in March of 2000. Actually I rebuilt 3 computers at the time. The PIII 600 from the first page here and this PII 450 and my sons P 233 which I will also show pictures of.
What's in it
Well this is a Soyo SY-6BB mother board. It has 3 HD a Maxtor 30 gig 5400 rpm, a Maxtor 8.4 gig and a WD 6.4 gig both 5400 rpm. It has the better older ISA US Robotics 56K Modem. That modem screams for as far as modems go and almost always gets a 53,000 connection through AT&T. Did to other Net providers as well. It just works great. I have a PCI US Robotics in the home computer and it doesn't work nearly as well as this one. The 36x CD ROM shown here in in the junk yard now. That crappy thing broke in 4 months. It now has a nice generic 50x that works great. I forget who makes it. High Value or some shit like that.

Well it has 128 megs of RAM, a now VooDoo 3000 card AGP which was also in the home computer till I got the VooDoo 5500 in it. It is like I said a Pentium 2 450. And believe it or not is a great computer. Off of Nortons Bench mark test it will pull in a 220 where the 600 at home will pull in a 330 so not bad. Nothing fancy about it. I only have a NEC 15XV 15 inch monitor with it.

Blaze with his P233
Also built in March of 2000. Wow! I was building 3 at one time. LOL! Actually this was mine that I was redoing for him. It has a P233 and now also has a VooDoo PCI 3000 video card in it. 128 megs of PC 66 memory. With a TX Chipset it was as fast as the buses were then. Hell that was a scream over the original EDO 60 ns chips in there in 4 stacks of 32 megs each. Know anyone that needs these? I still have them. PC 66 is 10 ns and was 20 points higher in bench mark. He still has the 33.6 K modem in there as well. LOL! I made it to play games at the time not really for the internet. I will replace it this time and he will get my P3 600 with a different MoBo of course. And a new 56k modem as well as a network card I already have for him to run cable. It has a AWE 32 Sound card that I got given to me. LOL! Can't argue free!
